Chef's Dinner

The 2019 Chef’s Dinner for Hospice of Dubuque was held Monday, April 29, at Timmerman’s Supper Club. A wonderful five-course meal was prepared by local chefs, including Ben Donovan, Q Casino, Keith Kettler, Mount Pleasant Home, Jason Culbertson, Hotel Julien Dubuque, Andrew Mettert, University of Dubuque and Steve Neese, Clarke University. They were joined by Tim Saunders, ARNP, Hospice of Dubuque, who formerly worked as a chef.

Our thanks to Timmerman’s Supper Club for donating their beautiful venue and the use of their kitchen. Thank you to Amy Gilligan, for entertaining the crowd as emcee for the evening, as well as Tim Markham for serving as the auctioneer, Hy-Vee for donating the meat, Family Beer and Liquor for providing the wine, Dubuque Advertiser for printing event materials and Butt’s Florist for donating flowers.

Hospice of Dubuque extends sincere gratitude to the members of the committee for their hard work in planning this event: Greg Birkett, Keith Kettler, Bev Larsen, Dave Ludovissy, Jill Reimer, Chuck Spielman and Judy Wolf. The night resulted in $22,000 to continue the Hospice of Dubuque mission of compassionate care.
