Holiday Help

Than you to all who joined us on Thursday, November 2, for the annual Holiday Help program. During the presentation, Jim Jelinski shared practical suggestions for the upcoming holiday season. This supportive program provided information, encouragement, hope, and a little laughter for attendees.

Traditionally, the holidays are a time of joy and celebration shared with family and friends. But for those who are facing grief after the death of a loved one, this time may be filled with sadness. As the holidays approach, it may be helpful to think about how to care for yourself during this challenging time, or to be aware of the effect the holidays may have on your grieving family or friends. Hospice of Dubuque has put together a Holiday Help Booklet with helpful tips for coping with grief during the holiday season. View the booklet.

If you, or someone you know, is struggling with grief, Hospice of Dubuque offers a variety of grief support options, which are open to the community. For more information, please call our office at 563.582.1220 or email our Bereavement Coordinator, Mary Boots.
