Holiday Help
Holiday Help

Monday, November 24 at 6:00 pm

Traditionally, the holidays are a time of joy and celebration shared with family and friends. But for those who are facing grief after the death of a loved one, this time may be filled with sadness. As the holidays approach, it may be helpful to think about how to care for yourself during this challenging time, or to be aware of the effect the holidays may have on your grieving family or friends. Hospice of Dubuque has partnered with Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home for a Holiday Help presentation.

Our new speaker this year is Stephanie Shaffer, LCSW,
a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, best-selling author, and
3x international speaker specializing in grief, trauma, and
resilience. With 25 years of experience—including a decade
as a Hospice Social Worker and over a decade in private
practice—she has guided individuals, families, and
    communities through profound loss.

During the Holiday Help program, Stephanie Shaffer will share practical suggestions for the upcoming holiday season. This supportive program is all about bringing hope, inspiration and motivation to people who are ready to implement lasting change in their daily life.
